Thank you for contacting RXNT. Discharging a medication will remove it from the list of patient medications. Typically a medication will be discharged if did not receive this medication or chose to not fill the medication after it has already been electronically sent. This can be after the medication was cancelled at the pharmacy as well. The Medication end date is entered for entering the date when a patient has stopped taking the medication.
